This campaign is rooted in a commitment to the hardworking people who are the heartbeat of our community. Our goal is to strengthen Tulsa County not just through words but through continuous, meaningful actions that address the real needs of our neighbors.
When you join the team, you're joining a community of people working to ensure our county becomes an active, compassionate presence in everyone's lives. If that sounds like your kind of thing, you found the right campaign.
Proudly endorsed and supported by the Osage Nation, Laborers’ International Union of North America Local 107, Oklahoma Building Trades Unions, Central South Carpenters Local 943, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 584, Ironworkers Local 584, and Northeastern Oklahoma Labor Council.
This requires more than just constructing buildings; it's about stability for every member of our community. We aim to hold developers accountable and prevent the widespread sell-off of our neighborhoods to out-of-state real estate investors who drive up costs and displace our neighbors.
Sarah is committed to integrating comprehensive support services into our housing initiatives. This includes providing access to mental health services, job training, and financial literacy programs.
Sarah knows resources are only useful if people know about them.
Proactive Information Sharing: Expect flexible forums for feedback and discussion, including virtual town halls, community gatherings at various times, and accessible online platforms, ensuring every resident can participate in the governance process at their convenience.
Streamlined Access to Services: Sarah will simplify how residents connect with county services, ensuring that assistance is just a click or call away.
Finally, Sarah will always take calls from her community. You will always have access to your County Commissioner.
No decisions for us without us.
Whether it's choosing your deputy county commissioner, setting budget priorities, or planning projects in your neighborhood. Sarah will bring you to the table with her every step of the way.
You can't truly represent a community you're not a part of - it just doesn't work like that. As an engaged member of the community, Sarah knows what it takes to earn the confidence and trust of our neighbors, and she is willing to put in the work to do so everyday.
Accessible, high-quality childcare is foundational to the well-being of our families, communities, and economy. It's not just about convenience; it's an economic imperative.
Want to improve the economy? Decrease the number of folks in the criminal legal system? Reduce homelessness and prevent housing insecurity? Improve attendance and graduation rates in our schools?
Sarah does, too. And she knows that accessible, high-quality childcare is the key to achieving these goals.
And no one understands that more than District Two.
The Commissioners have a responsibility to do more about an issue that is centrally located in our District.
Sarah will lead the effort to develop a County level master plan to find solutions for homelessness - positioning the County as the connective tissue between municipalities, charitable organizations, faith organizations, and community efforts.
This is how we reach our goal of a low-barrier shelter and better spent resources. Better communication and no more leaving the cities on islands to deal with a regional issue.
The interests of the taxpayers are the only things on Sarah's mind when it comes to infrastructure.
This is simple. Democracy thrives in the daylight. Here are ways Sarah will work to increase transparency in Tulsa County government for District 2:
Tulsa County shares jurisdiction with the Muscogee Nation, Cherokee Nation, and Osage Nation. Every inch of our county is located on reservation land.
This is an incredibly unique opportunity for building powerful partnerships that will benefit all of Tulsa County.
Sarah will always proactively seek engagement with Tribal leaders on projects that impact our shared communities.
Working together with Tribes, Tulsa County has the ability to bring home more federal dollars to fix our roads, support our workforce, and provide for our neighborhoods in the ways we need.
This office belongs to you. Please share your ideas, concerns, suggestions etc. with Sarah directly by emailing her at s.gray@grayforok.com.
As a renter and aspiring homeowner, Sarah understands the struggles we're facing due to the manufactured housing crisis in Tulsa County. Let's organize and put a stop to it!
Our county and our children need strong leadership who is willing to fight for them. Sarah will never sidestep the calls for help from our community.
As a community, we have to elect leaders who will show-up when the hard times come. Sarah has always shown up in the hard times, and she won’t ever stop speaking truth to power.
I'm honored to be your candidate for Tulsa County Commissioner. Donate to our campaign to help us bring it home in November.
